2 Hours – €20

A great option if you want enough time to paddle beyond Fornillo, explore the coastline, stop for a swim or spend some time relaxing on the water.

Full-Day Rental

For guests who want more freedom, we also offer a full-day SUP rental from approximately 11:00 AM until 5:00 PM.

Full-Day Rental – £45

Your board is yours for the day, allowing you to paddle, stop, swim, relax and explore without watching the clock every hour.

What Is Included?

We want you to be able to turn up and get on the water without needing to bring lots of equipment.

Your SUP rental can include:

• Paddleboard

• Paddle

• Leash

• Lifejacket

• Dry bag

• Waterproof phone pouch

• Snorkelling mask. if you lose it you will have to pay for it

• ​

These items are available as part of your rental, subject to availability.

We strongly recommend using a dry bag and waterproof phone pouch, especially if you are planning to explore further along the coastline.

Can Two People Use One Paddleboard?

Yes.

Two people can use one paddleboard together, depending on their combined size, weight, sea conditions and the board being used.

This can be a fun option for couples or friends who want to paddle together rather than taking separate boards.

Can I Take My Children on One Board?

Yes.

For families with young children, we can usually accommodate one adult with up to three small children on one paddleboard, depending on the combined weight of the group, the board and the conditions on the day.

Lifejackets are available for children.

Parents and guardians remain responsible for supervising their children at all times.

Our team will keep an eye on people using our equipment from the beach where possible, but SUP rental is not a guided activity. Because we may only have one member of staff operating from the beach, parents must stay with their children and actively supervise them.

For families with younger children, we may also recommend remaining closer to shore or within the area we advise on the day.

Safety always comes before distance.

Do I Need Paddleboarding Experience?

No.

You do not need to be an experienced paddleboarder to rent from us.

If you are new to SUP, we can show you the basic position, how to hold the paddle and how to get started before you head out.

You can begin sitting or kneeling on the board until you feel comfortable standing.

If you would prefer more guidance, we also offer SUP lessons and guided tours.

Where Can I Paddle?

This is where SUP rental becomes more than simply hiring a board.

Once you move away from Fornillo Beach, the coastline begins to open up in front of you.

Towering mountains rise above the sea, rocky sections of coastline appear around the corners and you begin to discover a completely different view of Positano.

Depending on your experience, conditions and how long you have rented the board for, you can discover:

Breathtaking coastal views

The coastline looks completely different from sea level, with cliffs and mountains towering above you.

Clear Mediterranean water

Stop somewhere beautiful, secure your board and jump in for a swim or use one of our snorkelling masks.

Hidden corners of the coastline

Small rocky areas, coves and quieter parts of the coast can be discovered once you move away from the main beach.

Cliff-jumping locations

There are places along the coastline where experienced and confident guests may find opportunities for cliff jumping.

Cliff jumping is entirely at your own risk and should only be considered where conditions and individual ability make it appropriate.

Shade and quiet areas

If the beach becomes busy or hot, paddling along the coastline can give you an opportunity to discover quieter areas and natural shade.

Or Do Absolutely Nothing

Not everybody rents a paddleboard because they want an adventure.

Sometimes you just want your own sunbed on the water.

Take the board out, lie down, float in the Mediterranean, enjoy the sunshine and look back towards Positano.

There is no rule saying you have to paddle for the entire hour.

Some of our favourite rentals are the people who paddle out for five minutes and then spend the next forty lying on the board enjoying the sea.

What Should I Bring?

For shorter rentals, you don't need very much.

For anything longer than approximately one hour, we strongly recommend bringing:

• Drinking water

• Sun protection

• Swimwear

• Your phone

• A hat

• Anything else you normally need when spending time in the sun

We particularly recommend bringing your phone.

Apart from the incredible photo opportunities, it also gives you a way to contact us if you need assistance while you are away from the beach.

Keep it protected inside one of our waterproof phone pouches.

Check the Weather & Sea Conditions

SUP rentals depend on the sea and weather conditions.

The Mediterranean can look very different from one hour to the next, so we may occasionally restrict rentals, recommend staying closer to shore or temporarily stop equipment going onto the water.

If we advise against going out, it is because we believe the conditions are unsuitable.

We would always rather delay a rental than put somebody onto the water when conditions are not right.
